Plenty of places in Seattle call themselves a bar. Cairde is a public house in the Irish sense of the phrase: somewhere the food is real, the whiskey is taken seriously, and nobody rushes you out the door.

Cairde is part of the Anchor Alliance, the Kraken's own network of watch party bars. There are nine across Seattle and just two in Uptown. Cairde is one of them.

What that means on a game night: the Kraken are on, the sound is up, and the room is full of people who came for the same reason you did. Then you walk ten minutes and you are at Climate Pledge Arena.

It works in both directions. Come early, eat properly, and skip the queue at the Arena concessions. Or come back after the final horn when everywhere closer to the gates is three deep at the bar.
